55DSL CUSTOMIZATION

It's become a yearly event where I get to customize the Bench that sits outside the 55DSL store........What an amazing time this time around (round 3), sunshining spring in full affect and the talented Dj and friend NICKNAME spinning instore on the decks....An amazing turn out from friends and shoppers.......many thanks to Bex and Billie for making it happen again......and Farewell to Bex @ 55DSL, onto the next chapter...Anyway here's a few flicks from the event...enjoy

55DSL BENCH BOMBING

It’s now become a bit of a tradition, that each year, the good old bench outside 55DSL that offers so many people a spot to chill when the weather’s nice, gets a good old make-over ready for Summer. Now the sun has started to rear it’s head again of late, we’ll be doing our annual bash this coming Saturday, 24th April from 2pm.

I'll be outside reviving the bench back to life with a fresh lick of paint, whilst heavyweight DJ NICKNAME will be inside, playing a mix of Hip Hop, Funk, Soul and Beats.

Swing by, say hi, and who knows, we've the foosball tables outside and there might even be some free drinks too (not confirmed, so don’t quote me on that one!).

This will be a great chance to chill (especially if you’ve been the The Nextmen party that I’m playing at the night before ), and catch with the 55 crew before many of them move on to pastures new.

Show closes tomo but definately worth checking out if you're into your kicks and Art.....A collaboration between Sole Heaven and Zero cool with established and up and coming talent customizing kicks and also producing a canvas to go along side it, all for sale....

VNA ISSUE 11 x INSA....100 LIMITED EDITION

Issue 11 of VNA out today, launch party in 55DSL from 6pm.......there's also 100 limited edition Insa VNA issue 11 hand pulled..........can't wait to get my paws on one.......Get there early as I've a feeling it's going to be a roadbloc.......also live painting on the night by a well known collective.....see you there.
